Role Description The AHA Instructor role at Max Healthcare is a full-time, on-site position based in New Delhi. The instructor will deliver American Heart Association (AHA) courses, including BLS, ACLS, and other approved programs, to clinical and non-clinical staff, ensuring adherence to AHA guidelines and institutional policies. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and conducting training sessions, facilitating skills practice and assessments, maintaining accurate training records, and coordinating course logistics such as materials, equipment, and scheduling. The role involves updating instructional content in line with the latest AHA standards, supporting participants in obtaining and renewing certifications, and collaborating with clinical education teams to address training needs. The instructor is expected to promote a culture of patient safety, emergency preparedness, and continuous quality improvement through effective education.

Qualifications

  • Strong instructional and facilitation skills, including the ability to explain clinical concepts clearly, demonstrate procedures, and guide hands-on practice.
  • Solid knowledge of emergency cardiovascular care, basic and advanced life support, and current AHA guidelines, preferably with experience in acute or critical care settings.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage diverse learner groups, provide constructive feedback, and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Organizational and administrative abilities to manage course schedules, maintain training documentation, handle certification processes, and ensure compliance with AHA and hospital standards.
  • Current AHA instructor certification (e.g., BLS, ACLS) or eligibility to obtain instructor status within a defined timeframe.
  • Recognized healthcare qualification (such as nursing, medicine, paramedical, or allied health) with relevant clinical experience.
  • Commitment to ethical practices, inclusivity in education, and ongoing professional development through participation in updates, workshops, and refresher programs.
