Job Description
At PwC, our people in deals focus on providing strategic advice and support to clients in areas such as mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and restructuring. They help clients navigate complex transactions and maximise value in their business deals. In capital markets accounting advisory services at PwC, you will focus on providing strategic guidance on a broad range of technical accounting, financial reporting, transaction structures and capital markets topics. You will advise clients on complex accounting advisory and financial reporting issues around deals (both public and private) and other transformational business events that may impact an organisation’s value.
Focused on relationships, you are building meaningful client connections, and learning how to manage and inspire others. Navigating increasingly complex situations, you are growing your personal brand, deepening technical expertise and awareness of your strengths. You are expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, and to deliver quality. Embracing increased ambiguity, you are comfortable when the path forward isn’t clear, you ask questions, and you use these moments as opportunities to grow.
Skills
Examples of the skills, knowledge, and experiences you need to lead and deliver value at this level include but are not limited to:
Designation: Senior Associate – CMAAS, Deals
Location: Bangalore, Gurugram, and Kolkata
In a world where transactions are faster, more complicated and require a deeper level of sophistication, we provide unparalleled technical knowledge, specialization and industry insights, coupled with the One Firm knowledge that brings everything PwC offers to solve our clients' needs. We will introduce you to an ever-expanding ecosystem of people, learning, skills and insights that will serve as a platform to boost your understanding of commercial and regulatory aspects – also empowering you to build collaborative networks. A career in our Acceleration Center is the natural extension of PwC's leading global delivery capabilities. We provide premium, cost-effective, high-quality services that support process quality and delivery capability for client engagements.
As a Senior Associate, key responsibilities are assigned based on an evaluation of the candidate’s professional qualification, relevant experience, Microsoft skills, and a demonstrated working knowledge of financial analysis using accounting concepts that impact the business and economic environment. These could include: working as part of the CMAAS (Capital Markets & Accounting Advisory Services) team in performing data-driven financial and accounting GAAP analysis and communicating with PwC network offices on project deliverables (Acquisitions/Divestitures/Capital Raising/Accounting Advisory).
