Role Overview

We are looking for a QA Engineer (Fresher) who will help ensure the quality of our healthcare platform used by doctors and patients.

The candidate will work on testing web applications, mobile apps, APIs, and end-to-end healthcare workflows such as appointment booking, doctor dashboards, and patient management.

This role is ideal for someone who wants to build a career in software testing, product quality, and automation testing.

Key Responsibilities

1. Functional Testing

  • Understand product requirements and healthcare workflows.
  • Write and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
  • Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications.
  • Verify new features, enhancements, and bug fixes.
  • Conduct regression testing before releases.

2. Mobile App Testing

  • Test Android and iOS applications across multiple devices.
  • Validate UI/UX behavior, responsiveness, and performance.
  • Test mobile-specific features such as:
  • Login / OTP verification
  • Appointment booking flow
  • Notifications
  • App navigation
  • Identify device compatibility issues.

3. Healthcare Workflow Testing

Test real-world flows like:

  • Patient appointment booking
  • Doctor profile and availability
  • Clinic management
  • Patient record and consultation flow
  • Appointment cancellation / rescheduling
  • Payments and confirmations

Ensure these workflows work smoothly end-to-end.

4. API Testing

  • Perform API testing using Postman.
  • Validate API responses, status codes, and data accuracy.
  • Test integration between frontend and backend APIs.

5. Bug Tracking and Reporting

  • Identify, document, and track bugs and defects.
  • Create clear bug reports with steps, screenshots, and logs.
  • Use tools like Jira / Azure DevOps.

6. Automation Testing (Basic)

  • Assist in automation test script creation.
  • Execute automated regression tests.
  • Learn and work with tools such as:
  • Selenium
  • Cypress
  • Playwright
  • Appium (for mobile automation)

7. Collaboration

  • Work closely with:
  • Developers
  • Product Managers
  • Designers
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings:
  • Sprint planning
  • Daily standups
  • Sprint reviews

Required Skills

  • Basic understanding of Software Testing concepts.
  • Knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
  • Understanding of manual testing and bug reporting.
  • Basic knowledge of web application testing.
  • Basic knowledge of mobile app testing.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

  • Basic knowledge of automation testing tools
  • Selenium
  • Cypress
  • Playwright
  • Appium
  • Basic knowledge of API testing (Postman).
  • Basic knowledge of SQL queries for data validation.
  • Familiarity with Git / version control.
  • Understanding of Agile methodology.

Educational Qualification

  • B.Tech / B.E / BCA / MCA / BSc (Computer Science / IT)
  • or related technical field.
