Job Role: ADAS Technical Project Lead – L2/L2+ Perception Algorithms

Location: Chennai

We're seeking a highly experienced ADAS Technical Project Lead to manage and deliver L2/L2+ ADAS perception algorithms for Parking and Driving functions. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise, leadership skills, and project management capabilities to ensure automotive software projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor software teams in the development of ADAS perception algorithms for Parking and Driving functions.
• Maintain project plans, schedules, and resource forecasts, tracking progress against milestones and budgets.
• Ensure adherence to defined software development processes with familiarity in Automotive SPICE.
• Assign tasks and manage daily software team activities, aligning internal and external deliverables.
• Represent the software team in customer discussions, providing regular status updates.
• Collaborate with R&D, hardware, testing, and other stakeholders across multiple time zones.
• Identify resource requirements, equipment needs, and investment planning for successful project delivery.
• Provide weekly updates on project progress, risks, and resource utilization.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or related engineering field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in automotive embedded software development.
• 5+ years of experience in software project management and delivery.
• Strong technical expertise in ADAS perception algorithms for Parking and Driving functions.
• Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage global teams across multiple time zones.
• Strong planning, execution, and process enforcement capabilities.
• Familiarity with Automotive SPICE preferred.
