Job Description

Job Purpose

The Activity Coordinator cum Naturalist is responsible for planning, organizing, and conducting guest activities while promoting awareness about the local environment, wildlife, and culture. The role focuses on enhancing the guest experience through engaging nature-based activities, educational sessions, and recreational programs.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and conduct daily guest activities such as nature walks, bird watching, village visits, cycling tours, kayaking, and cultural experiences.
Provide guests with information about the local flora, fauna, ecosystem, and conservation practices.
Accompany guests during outdoor activities and ensure their safety at all times.
Maintain activity schedules and ensure timely communication of the daily activity plan to guests and relevant departments.
Coordinate with the Front Office and Guest Relations team to promote and manage guest participation in activities.
Maintain and monitor activity equipment such as bicycles, binoculars, nature guides, and safety gear.
Conduct environmental awareness sessions and educational talks for guests about local biodiversity and sustainability practices.
Ensure all activity areas and equipment are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
Record guest participation, feedback, and prepare activity reports for management review.
Assist in organizing special events, theme nights, or seasonal activities for guests.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hospitality, Tourism, Environmental Science, Zoology, Botany, or related field.
Knowledge of local wildlife, plants, birds, and ecosystems is preferred.
Good communication and storytelling skills to engage with guests.
Basic first aid and safety awareness for outdoor activities.
Ability to interact with international and domestic guests confidently.
Passion for nature, sustainability, and outdoor activities.
Handle additional responsibilities as directed by the manager.
Adhere to and implement all company policies and procedures.
Serve as a brand ambassador by ensuring consistent brand representation and integrity.
