Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant with 1–3 years of experience to handle day-to-day accounting activities and support statutory compliance. The ideal candidate should have hands-on exposure to accounting entries, reconciliations, taxation basics, and financial records maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain books of accounts and record daily accounting transactions.
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities.
• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Post journal entries and assist in month-end closing activities.
• Maintain invoices, vouchers, bills, and supporting documents.
• Assist in GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and Income Tax related compliance work.
• Prepare data for statutory filings and maintain compliance records.
• Support internal and statutory audits by providing required documents.
• Prepare basic financial reports such as trial balance and P&L statements.
• Assist in preparing monthly accounting reports for management.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants when required.
  
  

Role Requirements And Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and statutory compliance.
• Experience with Tally ERP / Zoho Books / QuickBooks or similar software.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel (basic formulas, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables preferred).
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to meet deadlines and handle routine accounting tasks.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• B.Com / M.Com in Accounting or Finance.
