Accountant / Sr Accountant- NBFC

Company Description

KiVi is an agri-fintech that enables credit, commerce and distribution to farmers and agri entrepreneurs. We have recently acquired an NBFC and are looking to strengthen our finance and accounting function.

Role Description

The candidate will be responsible for managing NBFC accounting and compliance matters. This is a full-time on-site role located in Chennai that requires close collaboration with other team members in different functional areas. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of financial accounting principles and proficiency in accounting software.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in NBFC accounting
• Proficiency in RBI compliance
• Knowledge of accounting software
• Experience in preparing financial statements such as Balance Sheet, P&L, and Cash Flow statements of NBFC as per regulations
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and external stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CA Inter etc or related field
• Attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision

Experience: 3-8 years of relevant experience
