Management Accounts Manager/Record to Report Manager
Work Model
- Location: Ahmedabad/Noida
- Model: Work from office
- Shift Timings: UK Shift (12:30 to 10:00 PM/1:30 to 11:00 PM IST)
Role Summary:
The Manager – Finance Operations will lead the Property and Development Accounting team. The role combines deep subject‑matter expertise with operational leadership, ensuring high-quality financial outputs, strong governance, and drive continuous improvement across all portfolios.
This is a mid-management level role that influences business decisions, manages key client relationships, and drives performance within a multi‑regional, fast‑growing environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Operations Leadership
- Lead end‑to‑end accounting for property accounting entities.
- Oversee monthly/quarterly/annual financial reporting, ledger accuracy, reconciliations, variance analysis, and management accounts review.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP, internal financial controls, and audit requirements.
- Drive reporting quality for UK/European portfolios, including VAT and statutory compliance.
2. Stakeholder Management
- Provide financial insights, trend analysis, and recommendations to support strategic decisions.
- Manage escalations and ensure strong, trust‑based relationships across client and internal teams.
- Lead discussions in review meetings, and governance forums.
3. Governance, Controls & Risk Management
- Strengthen internal controls and ensure full compliance with process documentation.
- Identify process risks, opportunities, and mitigation strategies.
- Support internal and external audits with complete documentation and timely responses.
- Lead crisis or issue management across people, process, or operational areas.
4. Process Improvement & Automation
- Drive automation, system enhancements (Yardi preferred), and process standardization.
- Identify operational efficiency opportunities and lead improvement projects across AP, AR, Treasury, and reconciliations.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, accuracy, and financial discipline.
5. Team Leadership & Development
- Manage team size of ~ 15 members for management/ property and development accounting portfolios.
- Recruit, develop, mentor, and build strong second‑level leadership.
- Assign responsibilities, set performance expectations, and ensure timely delivery.
- Recognize and reward top performance; build a collaborative, high‑engagement environment.
Qualification and Skills:
- CA / ACCA (mandatory) with 8–10 years post‑qualification experience.
- Strong background in Property and Development Accounting.
- Proven experience managing accounting teams (14-15 members).
- Hands‑on expertise in financial reporting, reconciliations, variance analysis, and multi‑entity accounting.
- Strong understanding of IFRS/GAAP.
- Advanced Excel skills; ERP experience required (Yardi preferred).
- Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder‑management skills.

Career Progression & Reporting Structure
The Manager – Management Accountant reports to the Senior Manager. Future progression opportunities include Accounting Manager, Senior Finance Manager, or Finance Business Partner roles.
