Role Description The Academic Head is responsible for leading the academic vision and operations of Jain School of Future Technology. This full-time, on-site role based in Kochi involves overseeing curriculum delivery, ensuring academic quality, and aligning programs with industry needs. The Academic Head will collaborate with faculty to design and update curricula, integrate work-based learning components, and monitor student performance and outcomes. Day-to-day tasks include managing academic schedules, mentoring teaching staff, conducting academic reviews, and coordinating with industry partners to keep course content relevant. The role also involves promoting a learner-centric environment, driving educational innovation, and supporting institutional accreditation and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Educational Management and Team Management to lead academic operations and guide faculty effectively.
• Candidates should possess skills in Curriculum Development and Education to design, implement, and continuously improve industry-aligned academic programs.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to engage with students, faculty, industry partners, and other stakeholders.
• Experience in higher education leadership, preferably in technology or work-integrated programs, is highly beneficial.
• Advanced degree in Education, Management, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to drive academic innovation, maintain quality standards, and support diverse learners.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and stakeholder management skills, with a commitment to inclusive and equitable education.
