  • Build and maintain a strong academic framework that reflects universal design thinking and connects shared design fundamentals across disciplines.
  • Review, refine, and standardize curriculum, lesson plans, learning outcomes, assignments, and assessment structures across centres.
  • Ensure academic content remains current, industry-relevant, and aligned with evolving design practices and student career pathways.
  • Support faculty members with academic direction, teaching methodology, classroom delivery standards, and content improvement.
  • Conduct faculty training, class observations, academic audits, and regular review meetings to improve teaching effectiveness.
  • Oversee academic calendars, batch planning, timetables, project reviews, jury structures, and student progression systems.
  • Monitor student academic performance, learning gaps, and feedback, and implement corrective action where needed.
  • Collaborate with centre teams and management to ensure academic consistency, student satisfaction, and smooth academic operations.
  • Work closely with leadership on new course development, academic innovation, and expansion of design-led learning verticals.
  • Represent academic standards of the institution in internal reviews, faculty discussions, and curriculum planning meetings.

Qualifications

  • 5–8 years of experience in academic leadership, curriculum development, faculty management, or program delivery within design education or a related creative field.
  • Strong understanding of universal design and the foundational elements of fashion, interior, graphic, animation, and allied design disciplines.
  • Experience in curriculum design, academic audits, teaching quality improvement, and faculty mentoring.
  • Ability to connect multidisciplinary design concepts into a cohesive student learning journey.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and team management skills.
  • Strong organizational ability in managing academic calendars, reviews, documentation, and quality systems.
  • Master’s degree or relevant academic background in design, education, or a related field will be preferred.
