Academic counselor

This is a full-time, on-site Academic Counselor role based in Mumbai. The Academic Counselor will be responsible for assisting students in identifying and selecting suitable medical programs abroad, offering personalized counseling sessions, providing guidance on career paths, and addressing academic concerns. Other responsibilities include offering detailed information about the admission process, documentation, and visa requirements, as well as conducting follow-ups with students and their families.

• Strong skills in Student Counseling and Academic Advising to guide students in pursuing their academic and career goals.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with students and their families.
• Experience in Career Counseling and understanding students’ aspirations to offer tailored guidance.
• Familiarity with the education system, especially in the medical field, and knowledge of studying abroad opportunities.
• Proficiency in building and maintaining professional relationships with students and institutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Education, Psychology, Counseling) is preferred.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Fluency in English, and knowledge of additional regional or foreign languages is an advantage.
