Job Title: Admissions/Education Counselor – Online/Distance Education

Location: Noida Sector 62

Experience Required: 1+ years (in EdTech / Distance Learning Sales) must


Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Admissions Counselor with proven experience in selling online and distance education programs (UG & PG courses). The candidate will be responsible for guiding prospective students through the admissions process, counseling them on suitable programs, and achieving enrollment targets.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Counsel prospective students via calls, in-perosn and virtual meetings about undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programs.
  • Drive sales conversions by effectively communicating the value of online/distance learning courses.
  • Handle inbound and outbound leads, follow up regularly, and maintain a strong conversion ratio.
  • Understand student requirements and recommend appropriate programs based on their academic and career goals.
  • Provide detailed information on courses, eligibility, fees, curriculum, and career prospects.
  • Assist students throughout the admission lifecycle—from inquiry to enrollment.
  • Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly admission targets.
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions and update CRM systems regularly.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, operations, academic advisors) for smooth admission processing.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and new programs.
  • Conduct webinars, virtual counseling sessions, and participate in promotional activities.
  • Handle objections effectively and provide customized solutions to prospects.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and student engagement.


Required Skills:

Proven experience in admissions counseling or sales of online/distance education programs (UG & PG).

Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in a target-driven, fast-paced environment.

Familiarity with CRM tools and lead management systems.

Good understanding of higher education systems and online learning platforms.

Strong problem-solving and convincing skills.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in EdTech or higher education industry.

Multilingual communication skills.

Experience handling international or working professionals as leads.

Lead-to-enrollment conversion rate

Monthly/quarterly admission targets

Student satisfaction and retention

Response time and follow-up efficiency


Compensation:

Salary - 15 to 45 thousand per month
