Job Description

Altoros, an established provider of software development services, is looking for a QA Automation Engineer who will take full ownership of building an automation framework from the ground up for a modern fintech platform. This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys autonomy, technical decision‑making, and shaping the long‑term testing strategy.

Responsibilities:

Design and implement a test automation framework from scratch (tools and stack are flexible — you choose what fits best)
Define automation strategy, standards, and best practices
Automate regression, functional, API and integration test suites
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
Collaborate closely with developers, QA, product owners and DevOps teams
Identify gaps in the current testing process and propose improvements
Ensure high test coverage and maintainability of the automation suite

Requirements:

Strong experience in test automation (UI and API)
Ability to independently design and build automation architecture
Solid programming skills in any modern language (Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, etc.)
Exprience with frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Selenide, RestAssured, or similar
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
Understanding of QA methodologies and best practices
Experience in fintech is a plus, but not required
Proactive mindset and ability to work with minimal supervision
