3D designer & CGI Artist

AETRAL Group is looking for a 3D Designer & CGI Artist to join us in a contract-based, hybrid role (Budapest + remote flexibility).

You will work on high-end automotive, tech- and defense-related projects, creating:

• Photorealistic still renders
• Cinematic animations
• Real-time / interactive visual content (configurators, VR-ready assets)

This is not a repetitive production role, you’ll be involved in:

• Concept development & visual direction
• Translating design intent into high-end CGI
• Collaborating with designers, engineers, and developers
• Exploring new workflows (real-time, AI-assisted, procedural, etc.)

• Create premium-quality 3D visuals (still + motion) with strong attention to realism and detail
• Develop lighting, shading, and composition at a high artistic level
• Build clean, optimized 3D assets for both offline and real-time use
• Participate in creative ideation and visual storytelling
• Contribute to pushing AETRAL’s visual and technical standards forward

• Strong portfolio in automotive / product visualization (or equivalent level)
• Advanced skills in 3D modeling, lighting, rendering, and animation
• Deep understanding of materials, surfaces, and realism
• Experience with tools like Blender, Cinema 4D, Unreal Engine, or similar
• Good sense of design, composition, and visual storytelling
• Ability to work independently and deliver reliably

Bonus:

• Experience with real-time pipelines (Unreal / Unity)
• Knowledge of automotive design language
• Experience with configurators or interactive tools
