Server & Frontend) Experience: 8+ Years Location: [Remote / Onsite / Hybrid ? specify as needed] Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Yii2 Developer with strong expertise in server-side engineering and modern frontend development. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience building scalable, high-performance applications using Yii2, along with hands-on exposure to modern PHP frameworks, cloud environments, and frontend tools. This role requires strong analytical skills, architectural thinking, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams on end-to-end system design and implementation. Key Responsibilities Backend / Server-Side Development Design, develop, and maintain robust applications using Yii2 Framework. Architect scalable backend solutions, reusable components, and API integrations. Build and optimize RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend workflows. Work extensively with MySQL?schema design, indexing, query tuning, and optimization. Implement backend caching strategies using Redis/Memcached. Ensure secure coding, error handling, and performance best practices. Integrate third-party services, payment gateways, and external APIs. Frontend Development Develop responsive and intuitive interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and UI frameworks. Collaborate with UI/UX teams to convert wireframes and mockups into functional screens. Ensure consistency, performance, and cross-browser compatibility. Cloud & DevOps (Preferred) Experience deploying and managing applications on AWS / GCP / Azure. Familiarity with Docker, containerized environments, and CI/CD pipelines. Ability to optimize applications for cloud scalability and performance. Collaboration & Leadership Participate in architectural planning and technical design discussions. Conduct code reviews and provide technical mentorship to junior developers. Work in an agile environment with cross-functional teams. Document features, architecture, and development processes clearly. Required Skills 8+ years of professional experience in PHP development. Strong hands-on experience with Yii2 / Yii Framework. Solid understanding of MVC architecture, OOP principles, and design patterns. Advanced skills in MySQL and relational database architecture. Strong frontend knowledge: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX. Experience integrating APIs and building scalable backend systems. Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills. Nice to Have Experience with Symfony or Laravel frameworks. Knowledge of modern JS frameworks like Vue.js, React, or Angular. Experience with cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure).
