Workday Security Developer 837 Work Mode: Hybrid (3 Days Office)Notice Period: 0?15 DaysJob Stability Required Location : Chennai, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Noida, Pune Role Proficiency Develop and enhance ERP/CRM applications?specifically Workday Security?within the assigned area with minimal guidance. Contribute to secure, scalable, and compliant system implementations. Key Outcomes Collaborate with the project team to develop, unit test, and document small to medium complexity programs. Follow project coding standards and best practices. Independently code, debug, test, and document features throughout development stages. Identify automation opportunities and process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality. Continuously learn technology, business domain, and Workday security areas. Define or review technical requirements based on user stories. Mentor new team members. Contribute to internal practice initiatives such as reusable components, case studies, knowledge-sharing sessions, hackathons, etc. Identify recurring issues and improve application/system design. Recommend appropriate technical solutions?including reuse or reconfiguration of existing components. Set and track individual performance goals. Measures of Success Completion of relevant technical/domain certifications. Adherence to coding standards and Workday security best practices. Reduction of recurring defects and quicker turnaround of production bugs. Low post-delivery defect rate. Compliance with SLAs (if supporting). Consistent billability throughout the year. Positive manager/lead feedback. Successful delivery of multiple small/medium requirements. Expected Deliverables Requirement Analysis Understand user stories and functional requirements. Estimation Estimate time, effort, and dependencies for self and module-level tasks. Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies. Design Understand LLD and map design to business requirements. Configuration & Coding Develop Workday security configurations following ERP/CRM best practices. Build code independently with adherence to standards. Testing Create and execute unit test plans. Maintain test class coverage above 95%. Code Review Participate in code reviews with the Tech Lead. Interact with clients during technical discussions. Defect Management Perform RCA and implement mitigation actions. Project Management Manage module-level tasks effectively. Documentation Create and peer-review technical documentation. Prepare deployment-related documents. Analysis & Reporting Perform required analysis and provide regular status updates. Knowledge Management Contribute to project documentation, SharePoint libraries, and internal knowledge repositories. Release Management Adhere to release processes and deployment standards. Client Interaction Effectively interact with customers and articulate technical solutions. Mentoring Guide junior developers on Workday security concepts and development practices. Skill Requirements Technical Skills (Must-Have) Strong hands-on experience with Workday Security, including: Domain security policies Business process security policies Security groups Experience with Workday HCM or other functional modules. Knowledge of Workday custom reports and calculated fields. Understanding of ERP/CRM cloud platform features and automations. Knowledge of data loading tools and deployment processes. Experience troubleshooting production issues and deployment errors. Ability to maintain configuration steps including sandbox refresh activities.
