Job Title: Workday Extend Developer Location: Chennai Notice Period: Immediate joiners or within 30 days Experience: 3-5 years Job Summary: We're looking for an experienced Workday Extend Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in developing and implementing Workday solutions, particularly in building integrations, custom applications, and reports using Workday Extend (Studio, Web Services, and EIB). Workday Extend Development: Design, develop, and deploy custom applications, integrations, and reports using Workday Extend (Studio, Web Services, EIB). Write efficient and scalable code for integrations with external systems. 2. Integration Expertise: Develop REST/SOAP APIs for seamless integration with Workday and third-party systems. Experience with EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder) and Workday Studio. 3. Troubleshooting & Support: Debug and resolve issues related to integrations, custom applications, and data inconsistencies. Provide L2/L3 support for Workday Extend applications. 4. Collaboration: Work closely with functional consultants, business analysts, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions. Document technical designs, code, and deployment processes. 5. Best Practices: Follow Workday best practices for development, testing, and deployment. Stay updated with the latest Workday features and enhancements. Required Skills: 1. Workday Extend: Studio, Web Services, EIB, and integrations. 2. Programming: Strong understanding of XML, XSLT, and scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript). 3. APIs: Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and JSON/XML. 4. Database: Knowledge of Workday?s proprietary database or similar platforms. 5. Tools: Experience with Workday?s development tools and environments. 6. Soft Skills: Problem-solving, communication, and teamwork. Nice to Have: 1. Workday Certifications: Workday Extend Developer certification. 2. Cloud Experience: Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and their integration with Workday. 3. Other Workday Modules: Experience with HCM, Payroll, or Financial Management.
