Team We are setting up a new Digital Marketing technology team that will be responsible for creating and managing our marketing web experiences. We are seeking a WordPress-focused full-stack developer to manage our enterprise website hosted on AWS. This role owns the technology, uptime, performance, and technical SEO of our WordPress instance, replacing the work of our digital agency. What You'll Do Administer AWS hosting environments (dev/staging/production): configurations, scaling, SSL, and performance. Maintain WordPress core, plugins, and integrations (updates, troubleshooting, compatibility). Design and manage automated backup-and-recovery workflows with retention policies. Implement server and WordPress security hardening and vulnerability patching, with monthly audits. Oversee structured dev ? staging ? production deployment workflows (Git version control, testing, rollback). Monitor and optimize site performance (Core Web Vitals, caching, database tuning, asset optimization). Set up 24/7 uptime monitoring, respond to incidents, and communicate status proactively. Implement and enforce technical SEO best practices (sitemaps, schema, site architecture). Deliver monthly technical performance reports with insights and recommendations. Leverage AI tools to automate monitoring, diagnostics, and development workflows. Collaborate with marketing, design, and content teams to deliver rapid, reliable solutions. Flexibly support aggressive project timelines ? including weekend and late-hour availability. Foster a healthy, communicative, and emotionally supportive team environment. What We Need Strong proficiency in AWS, WordPress, PHP, MySQL, and web infrastructure. (preferably 4 to 8 years of exp) Deep experience with site performance tuning and Core Web Vitals. Proven experience with Git-based release pipelines and rollback procedures. Skilled in uptime monitoring tools and incident response. Experience with AI tools to optimize development and monitoring, and bonus points if you have a familiarity with A/B testing platforms and CRO support methods. Proficiency in technical SEO implementation. Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration. Comfortable with flexible work hours and managing high-pressure use cases.
