WordPress Developer (Elementor, HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript & SEO) Location: On-site Employment Type: Full-time / Contract (specify) Experience: 2+ years (adjustable) Salary: Competitive ? based on experience About the role We?re looking for a WordPress Developer who can build high-quality, conversion-focused websites using Elementor , strong front-end skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), and back-end PHP. You?ll also be responsible for implementing on-page SEO best practices and improving site performance and accessibility. This role suits someone who can move from design to production quickly and who cares about UX, speed and search visibility. Key Responsibilities Build, customize and maintain WordPress sites and themes using Elementor (Pro) and custom code. Convert PSD/Figma/Sketch designs into responsive, pixel-perfect pages. Develop custom WordPress functionality with PHP (themes, child-themes, plugins). Implement client-side behavior with JavaScript (vanilla JS or frameworks as needed). Write clean, maintainable HTML and CSS (Sass/LESS experience a plus). Optimize sites for SEO (meta tags, schema, sitemaps, structured data, semantic HTML). Improve site performance: lazy loading, critical CSS, asset bundling, cache strategies. Ensure cross-browser compatibility, responsiveness and accessibility (WCAG basics). Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, CRMs and tracking tools (Google Analytics, GTM, Search Console). Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across staging and production. Create and maintain technical documentation and handover guides for clients. Must-have Skills Strong experience building WordPress sites with Elementor (templates, theme builder, widgets). Solid PHP knowledge for theme/plugin development. Expert HTML5 , CSS3 (Flexbox/Grid), and responsive design. Proficient JavaScript (ES6+). Practical on-page SEO skills and familiarity with SEO plugins (Yoast, Rank Math, AIOSEO). Experience with WordPress best practices: child themes, hooks (actions/filters), WP REST API.
