Job Description

Location: Bangalore / Pune Experience: 6+ years Key Responsibilities ? Lead?Windchill PLM customization, configuration, and integration?projects aligned with enterprise engineering objectives. ? Develop and enhance?Windchill workflows, UI customizations, info structures, and access control policies. ? Design and implement?Java-based Windchill customizations?(utilities, services, adapters, and business logic extensions). ? Integrate Windchill with enterprise systems such as?ERP, CAD, MES, and Document Management tools. ? Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and functional teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions. ? Conduct?code reviews, performance tuning, and system optimization?for PLM environments. ? Provide technical mentorship to junior developers and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. ? Support?Windchill upgrades, patches, and data migration?initiatives. ? Participate in?DevOps, CI/CD automation, and API-based integrations?to modernize PLM development practices. Required Skills & Experience ? 6+ years of hands-on experience in?PTC Windchill PLM (10.x / 11.x / 12.x). ? Strong experience in?Java, JSP, XML, JavaScript, and RESTful services for PLM customization. ? Proficient in Windchill Data Model, Type Manager, Workflow Engine, and Access Control Rules (ACLs). ? Experience with?Customization of PDMLink, ProjectLink, Change Management, and Parts/Document modules. ? Familiarity with?WTServices, Info*Engine, JCA/UI Customizations, and Windchill extension frameworks. ? Exposure to?CAD integrations (Creo, NX, SolidWorks)?and related data management. ? Working knowledge of?SQL, Oracle/SQL Server, and server-side deployment scripts. ? Experience with?Build tools (Ant, Maven), version control (Git), and deployment automation tools. Preferred Skills ? Experience in?ThingWorx or Windchill REST Services (OSLC / WRS). ? Understanding of?Agile methodologies, DevOps pipelines, and cloud deployments (AWS/Azure). ? Exposure to?PLM integrations with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle EBS). ? Knowledge of?Windchill Upgrade and Migration utilities. Qualifications ? Bachelor?s or master?s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or Engineering. ? PTC Certification in Windchill Development or Customization (preferred)
