Welder (MIG/TIG)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Welder will be responsible for reading and interpreting engineering drawings, fabricating and welding Mild steel, aluminum and stainless-steel components using various shop equipment and tools, and ensuring the quality and accuracy of the finished products.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Read and interpret the fabrication & Assembly drawings
• Tagging of basement frame within drawing parameters.
• Align components precisely using callipers, rulers, etc., and perform welding operations using manual or semi-automatic equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal, overhead).
• Conduct testing and inspections of welded surfaces and structures to identify any flaws or imperfections.

Day to Day responsibilities:

· Fabricate and weld components ( MS/SS/AL) according to specified layouts, engineering drawings.

· Maintain accurate daily records as required.

· Safely operate and use a variety of shop equipment and tools, including forklifts, hoists, hand power tools, grinders, cutting torches, and other hand tools.

· Inspect and correct welds as necessary to meet product specifications.

· Fill daily production report accurately and in a timely manner.

· Work independently based on drawings and documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS and SKILLS:

· Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.

· Knowledge of MIG Welding, TIG Welding, spot welding, Plasma cutting, Stud welding.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

· ITI / Diploma from reputed institute.

· Min 4 - 6 years of experience as a MIG/TIG welder/Fitter in Heavy Fabrication.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹360,000.00 per year
