Website Designer Intern – Shopify Brand Website

Role Objective

The Website Designer Intern will be responsible for designing and improving the Shopify website to give it a premium, modern, and professional brand look. The main objective of this role is to make the website visually attractive, user-friendly, and conversion-focused so that it represents the brand strongly and improves the customer shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and enhance the complete Shopify website with a premium brand look and feel.
• Improve the visual presentation of product pages, collection pages, and landing pages.
• Make the website mobile-friendly, clean, professional, and easy to navigate.
• Improve the overall customer journey from homepage to product page to checkout.
• Create campaign-based landing pages for new launches, offers, and special promotions.
• Ensure proper placement of brand elements, product images, CTAs, icons, and content sections.
• Regularly review the website and improve sections that do not look premium or brand-focused.
• Coordinate with the e-commerce team for product/category requirements and execute website design updates accordingly.
  
  

Required Skills

• Good understanding of Shopify website design and theme customisation.
• Strong sense of modern website layout, branding, and user experience.
• Knowledge of Canva, Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar design tools.
• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS will be preferred.
• Ability to design premium banners, homepage sections, product blocks, and landing pages.
• Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Understanding of e-commerce website flow and conversion-focused design.
• Ability to independently create a professional brand-style website.
