Web Development Lead (4–6 Years)

Role Overview

We are looking for a Developer Team Lead who can balance hands-on development with technical leadership. This role requires someone who can guide a team, make technical decisions, and ensure scalable, high-quality delivery.

You won’t just build websites. You’ll shape how they’re built.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of WordPress, Full Stack and Backend developers
• Architect and review WordPress, PHP and JS solutions for scalability and performance
• Hands-on development involving:
• Theme customization
• ACF Pro architecture
• Custom plugin development
• Oversee third-party API integrations
• Manage performance optimization, caching, and deployment practices
• Coordinate with QA to ensure quality standards are met
• Review UI/UX implementations and ensure design consistency
• Guide SEO implementation and performance improvements
• Work with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical plans
• Ensure best practices for security, maintainability, and documentation

Required Skills

• 4–6 years of WordPress development experience
• Strong expertise in PHP and WordPress internals
• Advanced experience with ACF Pro
• Proven experience with custom plugins and integrations
• Working knowledge of AWS, GCP, or similar cloud platforms
• Strong understanding of website performance and caching strategies
• Experience handling deployments and environments (staging/production)
• Ability to guide UI/UX implementation (not design-heavy, but quality-focused)
• Solid understanding of SEO and performance metrics
