Job Title: Web Developer (2–3 Years Experience) Location: Bangalore (Preferred) Employment Type: Full-time About the Role We are looking for a Web Developer who can independently handle end-to-end website development and also contribute to building and enhancing our digital learning platforms . This role is ideal for someone who is strong in PHP and web technologies , comfortable working with existing systems, and eager to work on scalable, product-like platforms in the education / digital learning space. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain websites end to end – from front-end UI to basic backend logic and deployment Update, enhance, and support existing PHP-based web applications Develop, customise, and maintain digital learning platforms and related modules Integrate front-end interfaces with backend services and REST APIs Work with databases (e.g., MySQL) for data modelling, queries, and optimisations Optimise applications for performance, responsiveness, security, and scalability Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner Collaborate with internal teams to translate requirements into clean, maintainable, and user-friendly solutions Must-Have Skills & Experience 2–3 years of hands-on experience in web development Strong proficiency in: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript PHP for web application development Experience working with relational databases (MySQL or similar) Understanding and practical use of REST APIs (consuming and integrating APIs) Working knowledge of Python or any emerging programming language (e.g., Python, Node.js, TypeScript, etc.) Experience with at least one frontend framework/library (React / Vue / Angular – even at a basic level) Good understanding of: Responsive design Cross-browser compatibility Basic web performance optimisation Comfortable working with existing/legacy codebases as well as new modules Proficiency in Git / version control Proven track record demonstrated through: Live project links, portfolio, or GitHub profile Good to Have (Preferred) Experience working on digital products or platforms , preferably in education / e-learning / edtech Exposure to role-based systems (e.g., admin, trainer, learner, etc.) Basic understanding of UI/UX principles and user-centric design Familiarity with cloud hosting environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) or basic DevOps workflows Awareness of basic web security practices (validation, sanitisation, avoiding common vulnerabilities) Education Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering , or a related field is sufficient. (Strong skills and portfolio will be given high importance.) Who need not apply: Candidates without practical PHP web development experience. Candidates who cannot demonstrate their portfolio . Candidates unwilling to work on both website development and digital learning platforms .
