Job Description

As a Web Designer at Spoke Design Labs, you’ll be responsible for translating business needs into engaging website designs that balance visual appeal with seamless functionality. You’ll work closely with clients to bring digital experiences to life. This role is ideal for someone who loves visual storytelling, has a strong eye for detail, and enjoys crafting responsive designs that resonate with users.

Key Responsibilities

Create engaging, responsive web designs from concept through to final delivery wireframes, mockups, layout grids, and visual assets.
Collaborate with clients to ensure the design vision is realised in production
Translate client requirements into intuitive site structures and compelling navigation flows
Conduct design reviews, iterate based on feedback, and ensure accessibility and usability best practices
Stay current with web design trends, tools, and technologies to push the team forward

What We’re Looking For

Core Skills & Requirements

0-1 years of experience in web design or related field (portfolio required)
Strong experience in Web Design using Figma
Solid background in Graphic Design (layout, typography, branding, visual storytelling)
Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator (or equivalent)
Familiarity with basic front-end languages (HTML/CSS) and design-to-code workflows
Clear understanding of responsive and web-first design principles
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently
Strong problem-solving and design decision-making skills

Client Management and Communication Skills (Must-Have)

Experience working directly with clients
Ability to understand client goals, ask the right questions, and translate feedback into design improvements
Excellent communication, collaboration, and time-management skills
English proficiency: Must be fluent in both written and spoken communication

Portfolio Requirement

A Strong Portfolio Is Mandatory And Should Demonstrate
