Role Description The Water Treatment Operator role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bhilwara. The operator is responsible for monitoring and operating water and wastewater treatment systems to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant plant operations. Day-to-day tasks include inspecting equipment, managing pump stations, adjusting process controls, collecting and interpreting water quality data, and maintaining accurate operational logs. The role involves routine checks of treatment units, coordinating with maintenance teams for repairs, and supporting adherence to environmental and safety regulations. The Water Treatment Operator collaborates with plant staff to maintain continuous operation and optimize resource usage.
Qualifications

  • Strong skills in plant operations and process control, with the ability to monitor and adjust treatment processes.
  • Experience with water treatment and wastewater treatment systems, including basic knowledge of treatment methods and compliance standards.
  • Capability to operate and oversee pump stations, including inspection, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance coordination.
  • Understanding of industrial safety practices, environmental regulations, and quality standards relevant to water and wastewater operations.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical data, keep detailed records, and use monitoring instruments and control panels.
  • Minimum of a relevant technical diploma or certification in water treatment, environmental engineering, or a related field; prior experience in industrial or utility operations is an advantage.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work in shifts and in an industrial plant environment.
