The VP, Software Development Delivery Manager will provide technical leadership while collaborating with Business and Product teams on the vision-setting through to the implementation of the transformation of our Call Center, and Regulatory Supervision and Compliance platforms. In this role, you will be responsible for the delivery of deeply efficient solutions that streamline and elevate our Advisors and internal colleagues' experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Experience leading multiple development teams across various value streams providing nurturing leadership and talent development efforts for successful project delivery, application, and platform support
  • Build cross-functional rapport and highly collaborative relationships with other leaders in the Technology and Product organizations identify and navigate through dependencies, risk mitigation and triage of issues to resolution
  • Have a deep understanding of API design, the difference between platform design and application design, and the tooling to create modern APIs leveraging AI as an accelerator.
  • Have a deep, hands-on understanding of modern data-driven and cloud architecture and design.
  • Strong Object-oriented Principles in a common OOP language framework such as C# / .Net.
  • Act as a mentor and lead on a cross-functional team that includes business analysis, and engineering
  • Ensure all engineering designs and model architecture align with enterprise standards.
  • Work across business, product and technical teams to deliver solutions that drive commercial impact

    Requirements

    • 15 years of professional SDLC experience in a diverse set of technology disciplines
    • 10 years in a technical management capacity in an enterprise with a high-performing technical team
    • 10 years of financial services experience. Experience directly with Call Centers and delivering solutions for highly regulated functions.
    • 4 years working with and managing remote teams (onshore & offshore), including vendor relationships
    • Experience leveraging AI to accelerate all steps in the PDLC, with measurable outcomes.
    • Ability to clearly explain engineering concepts to business users and articulate how they impact solutions
    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
