VP of Finance | Vertical AI SaaS Company

One of our Vertical AI portfolio companies building solutions for the healthcare industry in the US is looking for a commercial finance leader to join the business as a VP of Finance to help build and scale the finance function from the ground up.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategic finance and FP&A charter -- AOP planning, budgeting, board reporting, SaaS metrics, fundraise & IR, due diligence, segment profitability etc
• Own the revenue recognition, AR and contracting mandate -- own strategic decisions on pricing, account level discounting, deal desk negotiations
• Own end to end monthly close, books of accounts, MIS preparation, controllership
• Own cash, treasury and runway management
• Partner closely with sales team on compensation, quota setting
• Build out core finance team to scale to $100m+ ARR

Requirements

• At least 7-10 yrs of experience
• CA/CFA will be an advantage
• Ideally someone who has worked in a finance function of an enterprise, US focused software startup with greater than 5M in ARR
• Low-ego, hands-on operator comfortable being both the strategist and the executor — you don't need a big team to get things done
