Role Description

We’re looking for a Jr. Visual Designer (0-2 Yrs Work Experience) who can take an idea, toast it evenly, and serve it hot. This role is for someone who can think conceptually, design beautifully, and still obsess over the small stuff (yes, spacing matters). You’ll lead visual direction across brands, mentor junior designers, and make sure Butter Toast’s work always feels like a chef’s kiss.

What You’ll Be Doing (a.k.a. Your Daily Toast)

  • Owning the visual look and feel of brands, campaigns, and social content
  • Turning briefs, rough ideas, and “what if we tried this?” moments into polished designs
  • Designing scroll-stopping creatives for social (statics, carousels, reel covers, stories, ads)
  • Creating brand identities, moodboards, visual systems, and style guides
  • Guiding junior designers without killing the vibe
  • Collaborating with copy, content, and strategy teams to bring ideas to life
  • Managing multiple brands and deadlines without burning the toast
  • Staying plugged into design trends, internet culture, and platform aesthetics





Cookware You Should Be Comfortable With

  • Adobe Illustrator – logos, layouts, brand systems, vector wizardry
  • Adobe Photoshop – image manipulation, composites, social creatives
  • Adobe Premiere Pro – basic to intermediate video editing for reels, ads, and content
  • Adobe After Effects – motion graphics, transitions, animated posts (big plus)
  • Canva – quick-turn content, templates, and collaborative workflows
  • Figma – layouts, brand decks, UI elements, and collaboration
  • Google Slides / Keynote – clean, well-designed presentations





Bonus Points If You

  • Have strong (defensible) font opinions
  • Love memes and moodboards
  • Can switch between pixel-perfect and fast-turn work
  • Get excited by clean grids or slick animations





Location

This is an In Person, On-Site Role based out of Ahmedabad.
