Tradl is building a social presence from the ground up across Instagram, YouTube, Reddit, and Twitter/X over the next 3 months, and we need someone to shape how we look and sound everywhere we post. This is a hands-on design + video role: you'll design the visuals and edit the videos that make finance actually watchable. You'll also touch our off-social visual footprint - emails, blog graphics, and other brand touchpoints. You'll work closely with our Social Media Manager, who brings you the briefs and the strategy.


We're not hiring an execution-only intern. We want someone with a sharp eye and strong instincts who can take a concept and figure out how to make a first-time trader stop scrolling.

Role & responsibilities

Design

  1. Design social creatives: feed posts, carousels, story templates, thumbnails that are sharp, consistent, and on-brand across Instagram, YouTube
  2. Support visual design needs for emails, blog posts, and other brand collateral as needed

Video production

  1. Shoot/source and edit short-form promo videos for product or market-linked content, working off concepts and briefs from our Social Media Manager
  2. Handle end-to-end production for long-form YouTube videos
  3. Adapt content formats to fit each platform's native style (Reels vs. YouTube Shorts)
Expectations & requirements
  1. A portfolio or reel that shows how you think, not just what tools you know
  2. Comfort with at least one design tool (Figma, Canva, Photoshop, or similar)
  3. Working knowledge of video editing (After Effects, Premiere, DaVinci, or similar)
  4. A clear point of view - you can say what works, what doesn't, and why
  5. Genuine curiosity about content, internet culture, and what makes people stop scrolling
  6. Comfortable working across multiple platforms with different tones and formats
Note
  1. Open to candidates from any background - we care about taste and instinct, not just on-paper credentials
  2. Brownie points for being interested in markets, finance, trading, or startups
