Government College of Engineering, Aurangabad, Maharastra, India invites applications for Visiting Teaching Faculty Position from eligible and interested candidates
About- Government College of Engineering, Aurangabad (GECA) is an autonomous engineering Institute in Maharashtra state of India. It is affiliated to the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University and was established in 1960. The construction of the college was started in 1957 and was completed in 1960. Intially it had three Courses Civil, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.

Engineering Electronics & Telecomm. Engineering 6 Applied Mechanics Applied Mechanics 7 Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics Communication Skills M. Sc. First Class, in relevant subject Desirable SET/NET/Ph.D. Mathematics 8 MCA BE/B.Tech. and /ME/ MTech. with 1st class at either stage (ii) BE/B.Tech. and MCA with 1st class at either stage MCA 9 Consumer Psychology Postgraduate degree in Psychology Electrical Engineering 10 Energy Economics and policy Postgraduate degree in Economics with a specialization in energy studies 11 Macroeconomics Postgraduate degree in Economics 12 Sociology & Indian History for Engineers Postgraduate degree in Sociology 13 Energy and Environment Postgraduate degree in Environment 14 Foreign Language( German )(Japanese) Graduation degree, appropriate Proficiency certification in relevant field (B2/C1 Level) A degree in the corresponding language is preferred Electronics & Telecomm. Job/Position Description-
Walk-in-Interview to Work as Visiting Teaching Faculty Purely on Clock Hour Basis
As per powers vested to the Principal, Government Engineering College Aurangabad applications in prescribed format are invited from eligible candidates (academicians and persons from industry) for appointment of Professor of Practice/Visiting Faculty/Adjunct Faculty as per State Government/AICTE/UGC norms for UG/PG programs to different courses for fixed duration.
The revised hourly remuneration for Visiting faculty on purely Clock Hour Basis will be as per Government Resolution No. संकिर्ण 2016/ प्र. क्र. (100/16)/ तां शी -1 dated 17/04/2023 Rs. 900 per hour for Theory lectures and Rs. 450 per hour for practical’s, Total emoluments not exceeding Rs. 45000 = 00 Per Month. *Relevant branch will be as per AICTE Notification dated 28th April 2017 (https://www.aicte-india.org/downloads/175649.pdf)
How To Apply-
The interested eligible candidates for Professor of Practice and Adjunct Faculty are requested to visit website (https://www.geca.ac.in ) and submit the application along with resume & required document through online mode only on or before 20-06-2023. Click Google form https://forms.gle/VxtuBDCbY6uZC9i28. Walk-in-Interview to Work as Visiting Teaching Faculty Purely on Clock Hour Basis are arranged on 26th June 2023 at 11.00 AM at the venues within the institute.
The institute is inviting applications from eligible candidates in the prescribed format for visiting teaching faculty purely on a clock-hour basis for the academic year 2023-2024. Along with the application in the prescribed format, all required original documents, and one self-attested set of documents, the interested eligible candidates are requested to attend the walk-in interview on 26th June 2023 at 11.00 AM at the venues within the institute.
