About the Team
The Risk team at Navi is responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential risks across the organization. The Vigilance team, part of the Risk function at Navi, works closely with law enforcement and regulatory agencies to proactively address potential threats such as fraud, misconduct, or legal escalations. By building strong external relationships and ensuring timely coordination, the team helps Navi stay compliant, resilient, and prepared to respond to sensitive issues effectively.
About the Role
As a Vigilance Officer at Navi, you will work closely with UPI Payment, Payment Ops, BBPS, Legal & Compliance and concerned LEA (Law Enforcement Authority) to ensure correct and effective disposal of MHA complaints and BNSS 94 Notice received on I4C portal and Email.
What We Expect From You
- Action all MHA portal requests within the defined TAT while ensuring accuracy.
- Independently manage assigned case volumes, reassigned backlog, and SLA compliance.
- Respond to Section 94 BNSS notices by retrieving, verifying, and sharing transaction details with Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs).
- Coordinate with Police, Cyber Crime Cells, CID, MHA, I4C, and other government agencies on active investigations.
- Handle urgent LEA calls, escalations, and critical requests, including after-office hours and weekends.
- Retrieve and analyse historical transaction data to support investigations and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate case trackers, documentation, and MIS reports for audit readiness and management reporting.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with LEAs to ensure timely case resolution
Must Haves
- Strong understanding of UPI transaction analysis, Case management, and Regulatory compliance is recommended.
- Excellent documentation, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MIS reporting.
- Ability to work independently in a high-volume, SLA-driven environment.
- Willingness to provide 24x7 support, including weekends and holidays, when required.
- Strong ownership, accountability, and attention to detail.
- SQL knowledge (preferred) for transaction analysis and data retrieval.
- Multilingual proficiency is an added advantage.
- Prior field exposure or liaison experience with Law Enforcement Agencies is preferred.
