We’re looking for a Video Journalist who lives and breathes digital content, understands news and storytelling, and has a deep interest in startups and business. Someone who can anchor, produce, script, and shape videos across formats and is excited to build an entirely new genre of Indian business storytelling.

Responsibilities:

Track and identify the hottest stories in India’s tech and startup ecosystem.
Convert Inc42 news and feature articles into short- and long-form video explainers.
Script, direct, anchor, storyboard, and supervise edits and graphics — from concept to final production.
Coordinate with camera, editing, and graphics teams, as well as external vendors, for on-ground shoots.
Monitor social media video performance and iterate weekly for better outcomes.
Develop new video IPs, styles, and storytelling formats across platforms.
Direct and produce podcasts and profile videos with top Indian founders.
Anchor and present feature or news videos for Inc42.
Create high-quality, data-driven videos for social and editorial platforms.
Collaborate with internal teams for quick turnarounds and seamless execution.

Qualifications & Skills:

3–4 years of experience as a Digital / Multimedia / Video Producer or Journalist in a digital media company, content agency, or newsroom.
Bachelor’s/Master’s/Diploma in Communication or Journalism.
Strong understanding or interest in business, tech, startups, or data-driven news.
Confident on-camera presence, with solid delivery and voice modulation skills.
Working knowledge of production equipment, editing software, and AI tools.
Entrepreneurial, creative, and collaborative approach to producing and problem-solving.
