Position: Film and Video Editor

Type: Independent Contractor

Compensation: $60–$100/hour

Location: US, UK, or Canada

Duration: Short term sprint

Commitment: High numbers of hours available

Role Responsibilities

Design questions related to the occupation of a Film and Video Editor.
Work independently and asynchronously around your schedule.
Ensure access to a desktop or laptop computer (Chromebooks not supported).
Collaborate with AI research teams to improve project outcomes.

Qualifications

Must-Have

4+ years full-time work experience as a Film and Video Editor.
Be based in the US, UK, or Canada.

Compensation & Legal

We can meet industry-standard compensation expectations for your current role.
Paid weekly via Stripe Connect based on logged project work hours.
Classified as an “at-will” contractor to Mercor.
Cannot currently support H1-B or STEM OPT status candidates.
