Role Description This is a full-time, remote Video Editor role responsible for producing high-quality video content for digital marketing and branding campaigns. The Video Editor will collaborate with creative and marketing teams to understand project objectives, interpret briefs, and transform raw footage into compelling, on-brand videos for social media, websites, and other digital channels. Day-to-day tasks include editing video clips, applying transitions and effects, syncing audio, performing basic sound adjustments, and ensuring consistent visual style across projects. The role also involves color grading, integrating graphics and motion elements, optimizing videos for different platforms and formats, and managing file organization and version control. The Video Editor will contribute ideas to storyboards, maintain project timelines, and continuously refine outputs based on feedback and performance metrics.
Qualifications
  • Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production, including assembling footage, storytelling, and pacing.
  • Proficiency in Video Color Grading to maintain consistent visual tone and enhance overall image quality.
  • Experience with Motion Graphics and Graphics to create engaging titles, overlays, and visual elements.
  • Advanced knowledge of industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects).
  • Understanding of digital and social media formats, aspect ratios, and best practices for short-form and long-form content.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a remote environment.
  • Effective communication skills and comfort collaborating with creative, marketing, and client-facing teams.
  • Relevant experience in digital marketing, branding, or creative agencies; a portfolio showcasing video and motion work is required.
  • Preferred: formal training or degree in Film, Media, Design, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
