Role Description The Video Editor role at Scaleuporgin is a full-time, on-site position based in Salem. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing video content for marketing campaigns, social media, and other digital platforms, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and creative direction. Day-to-day tasks include assembling raw footage, applying transitions and effects, performing color correction and grading, and integrating motion graphics or visual elements as needed. The role also involves collaborating with marketing and creative teams to interpret briefs, refine storytelling, and deliver high-quality, engaging video assets on schedule. The Video Editor will maintain organized project files, optimize content for various formats, and contribute creative ideas to enhance video impact.


Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess skills in Video Production and Video Editing for creating and refining compelling visual narratives.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent, polished, and visually appealing footage.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to design and integrate dynamic visual elements and titles.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and graphic tools (e.g., After Effects, Photoshop) is beneficial.
  • Strong sense of visual storytelling, pacing, and audio-visual synchronization, with attention to detail and quality.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, interpret creative briefs, and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
  • Prior experience in marketing or advertising environments and familiarity with digital and social media video formats is an advantage.
  • A relevant diploma or degree in Film, Media, Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
