Key Responsibilities

Video Editing & Production

• Edit raw video footage into engaging and professional-quality videos.
• Create promotional videos, reels, testimonials, event highlights, interviews, advertisements, and social media content.
• Add transitions, effects, subtitles, animations, music, and graphics to enhance video quality.
• Ensure proper color correction, audio balancing, and final rendering.

Content Creation

• Collaborate with the marketing and creative team for concept development and storytelling.
• Assist in scripting, shot planning, and video sequencing.
• Create short-form and long-form content for YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and websites.

Shooting & Coordination

• Support video shoots during university events, seminars, workshops, admissions campaigns, and promotional activities.
• Coordinate with photographers, designers, and content writers for integrated campaigns.
• Manage video assets, raw footage, and editing archives.

Branding & Digital Media

• Ensure all videos align with institutional branding and communication guidelines.
• Create engaging motion graphics and visual effects where required.
• Optimize videos for different digital platforms and screen formats.

Technical Responsibilities

• Handle video exporting, formatting, compression, and publishing requirements.
• Maintain editing equipment, storage systems, and project files.
• Stay updated with current editing trends, AI tools, and social media formats.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Multimedia, Mass Communication, Animation, Film Editing, or related field.
• 1–5 years of experience in video editing and digital content creation.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar editing software.
• Knowledge of motion graphics, transitions, and visual storytelling.
• Basic understanding of videography, lighting, and sound editing.
• Creative mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects.
