Job Description We are seeking a passionate and creative Video Editor Intern to join our dynamic content team at Expertrons. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in video production, editing, and storytelling for a rapidly growing ed-tech startup. As a core contributor to our visual content initiatives, you'll help conceptualise, shoot, and edit videos for marketing, product explainers, social media, and brand building. Roles & Responsibilities: a. Video Production: Assist in planning, scripting, shooting, and editing video content for various platforms (YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.). Operate camera equipment, set up lighting, and manage audio capture for video shoots. Work closely with the marketing and content team to produce engaging content that aligns with our brand identity and campaign goals. Support studio and field-based video shoots, helping with set design, camera angles, and framing. Collaborate on video concepts that support campaigns, product launches, and educational initiatives. b. Post-Production & Editing: Edit raw footage into polished final cuts using editing tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve. Add motion graphics, animations, text overlays, and transitions to enhance video appeal and clarity. Optimise videos for social media platforms, ensuring proper format, resolution, and timing. Maintain organised file management of video assets and project backups. Implement feedback from internal stakeholders to revise and improve video outputs. Preferred Skill Sets: Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in mass media, film production, Communication, or a related field. Passion for filmmaking, storytelling, and video content creation. Familiarity with basic camera operations, lighting, and audio equipment. Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, etc.). Basic knowledge of motion graphics and design tools is a plus. Strong sense of visual composition, detail-orientated, and creative thinking. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. A portfolio or sample work is highly encouraged and will be given preference.
