About the Role

We are looking for a Video Editor Intern who can bring creative concepts to life through highly engaging, viral-ready video content. This role is built for a digital native who deeply understands modern social media algorithms, viewer retention, and post-production workflows, backed by hands-on internship experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit high-converting videos for social media platforms (Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn), marketing campaigns, and brand storytelling.
• Own the end-to-end post-production for engaging Reels, YouTube Shorts, and occasional long-form content.
• Collaborate closely with the marketing and content teams to brainstorm, script, and execute high-impact visual hooks.
• Elevate video quality using advanced motion graphics, kinetic typography, seamless transitions, color grading, and immersive sound design (SFX).
• Maintain a fast turnaround time for content delivery while keeping visual aesthetics and brand guidelines uncompromised.
• Stay ahead of internet culture, viral formats, trending audio, and emerging storytelling techniques.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 prior internship experiences specifically in video editing (a strong portfolio or video showreel is required).
• High proficiency in industry-standard tools: Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects (knowledge of DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro is a plus).
• Strong grasp of digital pacing, rhythm, visual framing, and hook mechanics (stopping the scroll in the first 3 seconds).
• Deep understanding of social media aspect ratios, safe zones, and platform-specific content formats.
• Ability to take complete ownership of projects and thrive in a fast-paced, agile startup environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a continuous willingness to learn.
