Job Summary – Video Editor (Remote)

We are hiring a Video Editor with strong hands-on expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve. This is a remote position, with preference given to candidates based in Bangalore for easier coordination.

The selected candidate will be responsible for end-to-end video editing across platforms, ensuring every video meets professional quality standards, brand guidelines, and marketing objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble raw footage into high-quality, engaging video content
• Create short-form videos for Instagram Reels, Facebook Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
• Edit long-form content, including YouTube videos, podcasts, tutorials, and webinars
• Produce commercials, advertisements, promotional campaigns, brand films, corporate videos, and product videos
• Apply color correction, color grading, transitions, motion graphics, sound design, and subtitles
• Ensure videos align with brand guidelines, creative briefs, and campaign objectives

Collaboration and Workflow

• Work closely with creative leads, designers, writers, and marketing teams
• Participate in remote brainstorming and pre-production discussions
• Implement feedback efficiently with strong version control and file discipline

Project and Asset Management

• Maintain structured file organization, naming conventions, and backups
• Manage multiple timelines and ensure on-time delivery of projects

Skills and Tools Required (Mandatory)

1. Adobe Premiere Pro for professional video editing
2. Adobe After Effects for motion graphics, animation, and visual effects
3. DaVinci Resolve for color grading, finishing, and delivery

Additional Tools (Good to Have)

1. Final Cut Pro for fast turnaround or alternate editing workflows
2. Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator for thumbnails and creative assets
3. Adobe Audition or similar tools for audio cleanup and mixing
4. Subtitle and caption tools using SRT workflows or transcription tools

Skills and Competencies

• Strong visual storytelling, pacing, and retention-focused editing
• Platform-specific optimization for Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok
• Good understanding of video formats, codecs, frame rates, and export settings
• Detail-oriented, quality-focused, and consistent in delivery

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Film, Media, Animation, Communication, or related fields, or equivalent professional experience
• 1–2 years of professional video editing experience, preferably in an agency or digital media environment
• Strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating short-form, long-form, and commercial work
• Candidates based in Bangalore are preferred
