Role Description This is a full-time Video Editor role based in Dehradun, structured as a hybrid position with some flexibility for work from home. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing news and feature videos, assembling raw footage, and creating compelling stories aligned with ETV Bharat’s editorial standards. Daily tasks include trimming and sequencing clips, adding transitions, titles, graphics, and basic motion elements, as well as performing color correction and grading to maintain visual consistency. The role involves close collaboration with reporters, producers, and graphic designers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality video content for digital platforms. The Video Editor will also manage file organization, follow brand guidelines, and optimize videos for multiple formats and devices.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess skills in Video Production and Video Editing for news and digital content.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent visual quality.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics for titles, lower-thirds, and visual enhancements.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar) and basic audio editing skills.
  • Strong storytelling ability, attention to detail, and understanding of digital and social media video formats.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and adapt to a fast-paced newsroom environment.
  • Relevant diploma or degree in Film, Media, Communication, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
