Role Overview

We’re hiring a Video Editor who understands internet culture, short attention spans, and performance-first editing. Your main focus will be editing content for Instagram Reels, Meta Ads, and UGC-style creatives. You should be able to take raw footage and turn it into content that feels fast, engaging, and polished.

What you'll do:

• Edit short-form videos (Reels/Shorts/Ads) with strong pacing and retention
• Create multiple variations of the same video (hooks, endings, pacing changes)
• Edit UGC-style ad content with a performance marketing mindset
• Repurpose long footage into multiple short clips
• Work closely with the marketing team to test new creative styles

What we're looking for:

• Strong editing sense: pacing, hooks, transitions, storytelling
• Experience editing short-form content for brands or creators
• Understanding of what performs on Instagram + Meta ads
• Good command over subtitles, typography, and on-screen text placement
• Ability to deliver edits quickly without compromising quality
• Familiarity with trending formats, memes, audio styles, and internet culture

Tools/Software You should be comfortable with:

• Premiere Pro 
• After Effects (Basic motion graphics + text animation preferred)

Bonus points if you

• Have edited content for D2C brands or startups
• Understand ad performance basics (hook rate, retention, watch time)
• Can suggest creative ideas, not just execute
