Role Description The Video Editor role at Ascent Digital India is a full-time, on-site position based in Dehradun. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing raw footage into polished videos for digital campaigns, social media, and other marketing assets. Daily tasks include cutting and assembling clips, adding transitions and effects, synchronizing audio, and applying color grading to maintain brand consistency and visual quality. The role also involves creating simple motion graphics and collaborating closely with the marketing and design teams to align video content with campaign objectives. The Video Editor is expected to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and contribute creative ideas to enhance storytelling and audience engagement.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing, with experience handling end-to-end post-production workflows.
• Proficiency in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent, high-quality visual aesthetics across projects.
• Ability to create and integrate Motion Graphics and Graphics to support brand messaging and visual storytelling.
• Experience with industry-standard video editing and motion graphics software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).
• Good understanding of digital marketing and social media formats, including aspect ratios, durations, and content best practices.
• Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
• Relevant education or training in film, media, design, or a related field is preferred, along with a portfolio showcasing previous video work.
