Role Overview

We are looking for a Junior Video Editor who is eager to learn and grow in digital content editing.

This role focuses on editing long-form YouTube videos and repurposing them into engaging short-form content for social media platforms.

This is a skill-building opportunity for someone with basic editing knowledge and a strong eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities

Edit long-form YouTube videos (20-60 minutes)
Repurpose long-form content into
YouTube Shorts
Instagram Reels
Ensure clean cuts, smooth pacing, and clear storytelling
Add basic captions, zoom-ins, and B-roll where required
Follow brand editing guidelines and internal SOPs
Deliver projects within deadlines
Implement feedback and revisions promptly

Requirements

Working knowledge of any professional video editing software (e.g., Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, etc.)
Basic understanding of YouTube and Instagram video formats
Strong attention to detail
Willingness to learn, improve, and take feedback positively
Ability to handle multiple revisions
Reliable system and stable internet connection for editing work

What This Role Does Not Require

This position focuses on clean, efficient editing - not advanced cinematic production.
No heavy cinematic effects
No over-the-top transitions
Motion graphics expertise is not required (a plus, but optional)
