Role Overview

As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for transforming raw footage into engaging, high-quality videos for our digital platforms. You will work closely with the creative, content, and design teams to craft visually appealing stories that connect with our audience. This role requires expertise in editing, motion graphics, and storytelling to deliver professional, fast-paced content at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit videos for YouTube explainers, reels, motion explainers, branded content, and other infotainment IPs
• Create clean typographic animations, title sequences, and motion graphic
• Implement presets, plugins, and effects to enhance overall video quality and speed up workflow
• Collaborate with content writers, producers, and graphic designers to maintain brand tone and visual consistency
• Manage timelines and ensure smooth post-production workflows from rough cuts to final exports
• Organize and maintain video project files efficiently
• Stay updated on video trends, editing techniques, and industry best practices
• Work under tight deadlines while delivering high-quality, polished outputs

Requirements

• 1 to 3 years of experience as a Video Editor in a professional environment (digital content or media agency preferred)
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
• Knowledge of transitions, typographic animations, sound syncing, and visual pacing
• Basic understanding of color correction and grading
• Storytelling ability and a strong creative eye for details
• A portfolio or showreel demonstrating editing and motion graphic skills
• Own laptop capable of handling editing workflows (if required)

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)

• Knowledge of DaVinci Resolve, Photoshop, or other editing tools
• Experience with explainer-style videos, infotainment content, or narrative-heavy edits
• Awareness of social media content trends and editing styles
• Ability to experiment with AI-based editing tools and plugins
