Vice President

One of our global banking clients is looking for suitable candidates for their Bangalore office.

Responsibilties:

• Collaborative team player with strong leadership, analytical thinking, and strategic capabilities to drive large-scale delivery programs within the Banking and Financial Services sector.
• Extensive hands-on expertise in SAP FPSL solution architecture and design, with a proven track record of delivering large-scale implementations.
• Experience managing 3–4 team leads and overseeing teams of 20–30 members across development, deployment, and support functions within SAP FPSL ecosystems.
• Strong background in solution architecture, design reviews, and technical governance across SAP FPSL, S/4HANA Finance, and Subledger Accounting.
• Hands-on technical expertise in SAP HANA XSA, SAP ABAP, CVPM Framework, and SQL (preferably SAP HANA), with the ability to mentor teams on development best practices.
• Strong understanding of accounting concepts such as Accruals, Fair Value Accounting, FX Revaluations, and Subledger postings, along with regulatory frameworks including IFRS9 and GAAP within FPSL.
• Proven experience across the full DevOps lifecycle including solution design, development, automated testing, deployment, monitoring, and performance optimization in SAP XSA environments.
• Experience integrating SAP FPSL with upstream and downstream systems including core banking platforms, General Ledger systems, reporting platforms, and regulatory reporting solutions.
• Hands-on expertise in database management, performance tuning, and handling high-volume subledger data processing using SAP HANA.
• Strong understanding of subledger accounting architecture, multi-GAAP reporting frameworks, and parallel accounting processes.
• Experience working with tools such as SAP Web IDE, Azure DevOps (ADO), Confluence, SharePoint, and JIRA for project and delivery management.
• Proven experience establishing governance for design, development, and deployment activities to ensure consistency and compliance across distributed Agile teams (onshore and offshore).
• Expertise in resource planning, team capacity management, hiring, and technical upskilling across SAP FPSL programs.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with architects, auditors, business sponsors, and leadership teams to align delivery objectives with business strategy.
• Ability to manage program budgets, risks, dependencies, and issue resolution while ensuring timely delivery and minimizing post-production defects.
• Good understanding of banking processes and regulatory requirements, with the capability to design compliant and risk-aligned technology solutions.
