Vice President & India Operations Leader – RCM
Organization: Our client, A leading GCC delivering end‑to‑end Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) services for the Medical Services Industry
Location: Chennai, India
Function: Revenue Cycle Management Operations (Provider-side)

Role Summary
The Vice President & India Operations Leader – Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) will lead our provider-side revenue cycle operations in India. This executive will be responsible for driving business growth, operational excellence, technology adoption, and people leadership across a 1000+ FTE organization. The role demands a strong strategic leader who can align India operations with global objectives, deliver superior client outcomes, and build a sustainable culture of innovation and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for our India GCC, aligned with global business goals.
- Drive transformation of provider-side RCM processes (coding, billing, AR, denials management, analytics) to achieve best-in-class performance.
- Oversee end-to-end delivery, ensuring SLAs, quality, compliance, and productivity goals are consistently achieved.
- Partner with global leadership to identify new service lines, automation opportunities, and market expansion initiatives.
- Own P&L responsibility, driving cost efficiency, scalability, and operational profitability.
- Build, mentor, and lead a diverse senior leadership team across operations, delivery, quality, and technology.
- Institutionalize a culture of continuous improvement, leveraging Lean, Six Sigma, and digital tools.
- Champion employee engagement, learning, and development to sustain our people-first culture.
- Serve as a strategic interface with global clients, ensuring trust, satisfaction, and business continuity.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy, healthcare regulations, and industry standards (HIPAA, ISO, SOC).
Qualifications & Experience
- 15+ years of leadership experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, with deep expertise in provider-side operations.
- At least 8 years in a senior leadership role (Director / VP level) managing large, multi-site RCM teams (>1000 FTE).
- Strong understanding of US healthcare processes – coding, billing, AR, denials, appeals, payer communication.
- Proven success in scaling operations, driving automation (RPA, AI/ML), and implementing analytics-driven improvements.
- Experience managing P&L, budgets, and transformation programs across global teams.
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and client relationship skills.
- Educational background in Business, Healthcare Administration, or Finance; MBA preferred.
