Role Description
The Vice President Corporate Relations role is a full-time, on-site position based at IIEBM Indus Business School in the Pune Division. Responsibilities include building and sustaining corporate partnerships, developing strategic initiatives to enhance corporate relations, and exploring business development opportunities. The role will also involve fostering philanthropy, designing and implementing outreach programs, and ensuring alignment of corporate engagement efforts with institutional visions. Collaboration with senior management, faculty, and industry leaders to achieve organizational goals is a key component of the role.
Key Responsibilities- Lead Final Placements and Summer Internship Programs (SIP)
- Develop strategic relationships with corporates, MNCs, consulting firms, startups, and industry leaders
- Build long-term partnerships for placements, live projects, certifications, workshops, and industry mentoring
- Strengthen recruiter network across domains such as SAP, ERP, Finance, Marketing, Analytics, HR, SCM, Oracle, Salesforce, and Technology Consulting
- Drive corporate outreach, campus engagement, and employer branding initiatives
- Coordinate with academic teams for industry-aligned training and employability enhancement
- Achieve placement targets, internship targets, PPO conversions, and strategic alliances
- Represent the institute at corporate meetings, networking events, and industry forums
- Mentor and lead the placement and corporate relations team
- MBA / PGDM preferred
- 8–15 years of experience in Corporate Relations, Placements, Business Development, Talent Acquisition, or Strategic Partnerships
- Strong corporate network and industry connects
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
- Experience in management institutes / universities / edtech / consulting ecosystem preferred
- Ability to work in a high-performance and target-driven environment
