JOB DESCRIPTION

Role Objective


The Vice President – Branding will be the custodian of brand identity, brand architecture, and brand reputation for EBG Group and its portfolio companies.

This role is not performance-marketing-led. It is focused on:

·      Long-term brand equity

·      Brand storytelling & positioning

·      Corporate & consumer brand consistency

·      Brand experience across online and offline ecosystems

The VP – Branding will work closely with business heads, marketing, creative, PR, and leadership teams to ensure every EBG brand stands for something clear, premium, and differentiated.


Key Responsibilities:

🔹 Group Brand Strategy & Architecture

  • Define and own Group-level brand architecture (Corporate brand, sub-brands, product brands).
  • Create clear positioning frameworks for each brand/business under EBG Group.
  • Decide brand hierarchy, naming conventions, and brand extensions.
  • Ensure alignment between corporate brand and individual business brands.


🔹 Brand Identity & Storytelling

  • Own brand purpose, vision, tone of voice, and narrative for EBG Group and its brands.
  • Lead development of brand guidelines, identity systems, and communication playbooks.
  • Ensure consistency across all touchpoints: digital, physical, retail, franchise, events, PR, internal communication.


🔹 Creative, Content & Experience

  • Oversee creative direction across campaigns, brand films, content, design systems, and storytelling.
  • Drive emotional connection with customers through strong brand narratives.
  • Ensure premium, consistent brand experience across customer journeys.


🔹 Corporate Branding, PR & Reputation

  • Lead corporate branding, leadership branding, and thought leadership initiatives.
  • Partner with PR agencies for reputation management, media presence, and brand visibility.
  • Manage crisis communication and brand risk, when required.


🔹 New Brand Launches & Rebranding

  • Lead brand creation for new businesses, ventures, and verticals.
  • Own rebranding, repositioning, and refresh initiatives for existing brands.
  • Ensure smooth brand transitions without loss of equity or trust.


🔹 Internal Brand Alignment

  • Drive internal brand adoption among leadership, employees, partners, and franchisees.
  • Ensure internal teams understand and live the brand values.
  • Support HR and leadership branding initiatives.


🔹 Governance & Brand Control

  • Act as final authority on brand approvals across the Group.
  • Create strong brand governance frameworks to prevent dilution.
  • Audit brand consistency across all businesses periodically.


Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with:
  • CEO / Chairman
  • VP – Marketing & Performance teams
  • Business Heads / P&L Owners
  • Creative, Digital, PR, and External Agencies
  • Act as brand conscience of the Group.


Qualifications & Experience

✔️ Education

  • MBA / Master’s in Marketing, Brand Management, Communications, or equivalent.
  • Additional exposure to design, storytelling, or consumer psychology is a plus.

✔️ Experience

  • 12–18+ years of experience in brand management, branding, or corporate communications.
  • Minimum 5+ years in a senior leadership role (VP / Head of Brand / Brand Director).
  • Experience handling multi-brand or group-level branding is strongly preferred.
  • Prior exposure to consumer-facing brands, franchise brands, or premium brands is a big plus.

Reporting To

  • You will report to the Chairman of EBG Group

Working Days

  • Monday to Saturday Working (6 days a week)

Joining Time

  • Within Max 30 days.

Reporting Office

  • You will be based at our new EBG Group Central Office, Hitec City Area, Hyderabad

Salary Package

Your Salary package will be approximately 25 LPA to 35 LPA
