Join us and be part of something extraordinary. We?re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President, Application Development Manager to join our Treasury Services team. This role is located in Chennai. In this role, you?ll make an impact in the following ways: Strategically partners with internal business units to drive enterprise-level backend application development, delivering innovative solutions aligned with organizational goals. Provides executive leadership and technical oversight for backend software development, expertly resolving complex architectural and operational challenges across large-scale systems. Proficient in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), with expertise in backend architecture, improving processes, and integrating smoothly with platforms across different functions. Oversees the review, validation, and enhancement of comprehensive backend test plans and data, ensuring the delivery of robust and scalable technology solutions. Directs and mentors technical teams in the design, development, and documentation of multi-platform backend applications, ensuring best practices and alignment with business strategies. Leads the analysis and definition of backend system requirements for data management, workflow automation, and logical process flows, integrating advanced backend capabilities with enterprise systems. Drives performance excellence in backend applications through coordinated efforts in coding, testing, deployment, and thorough technical documentation. Maintains a deep understanding of advanced security principles, relational database management, and backend architecture design, setting standards for technical excellence and compliance. Champions the development of well-architected, testable, and efficient backend code to power mission-critical business applications and digital transformation initiatives. Leads the design and continuous improvement of automated backend test suites, ensuring reliability, scalability, and quality in production deployments. Expert in backend programming languages and frameworks with proven leadership in architecting database management and data storage solutions. Exhibits exceptional problem-solving skills and a results-driven approach to delivering high-quality, enterprise-grade software solutions. Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required. 9-11 years of experience in software development required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus. Job holder must have understanding interdependence and business impact of future IT plans. S/he must have prior lead experience selecting and implementing vendor-specific methodologies and prior consulting experience with structured methodologies. Job holder must have broad experience with multi-platform development tools and toolkits. To be successful in this role, we?re seeking the following: Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required. 9-11 years of experience in software development required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus. Job holder must have understanding interdependence and business impact of future IT plans.
